KUZGUNCUK MO HOUSE RESTORATION PROJECT & APPLICATION

The restoration of a timber construction house in Kuzguncuk, which collapsed in the 1980s, based on the remnants of the foundations, building surveys and photographs. The living quarters of the house were built over a concrete half-basement level using traditional timber frame construction techniques, while the service areas, stair shaft and a small guest house were gathered in another concrete wing.
